we are designing a floating LNG facility (1.5 Mtpa LNG production) for our design project and we have encounter some problem in doing material and energy balance for amine process.

For your information, we are using amine base solvent of DEA for this process, but we cannot find the suitable composition and flowrate of lean amine. Can you please help me to find them?

Thank you very much for your attention.

Hi IZZ:
There are several equations give in GPSA engineering book. which can help you in determining the amine flow rate. As you mentioned that you are using DEA.
The following equation will apply in order to find out the Flow rate for DEA

GPM= 45*(Q*y/x)

Q= Feed gas flow rate (MMscfd)
y=acid gas concentration in feed gas
x=concentration of amine in liquid solution

I hope this help you.
