Hi all,

I have queries regarding the usage of seal plans in vertical sump pump i.e., VS4 type. Vendor recommends non contacting dual mechanical seal with plans 02 and 61. Also recommends not to use flushing plan. Service is hydrocarbon.

i) Pls explain how this dual seal work with the above mentioned seal plans as both plan 02 and 61 usually used with single seals????
ii) Whether fluid will flow to the outboard seal i.e., plan 61 and how the outboard seal will be cooled??????
