dear all;
could you please advise me regarding proper material selection for drinking water chlorination package.
I am looking for proper material for valves ,check valves ,pipe and other interconnecting which have a good corosion resistance in warm and wet weather condition.

any experiense are most wellcome.

Hi,

As far as I know, SS317 is the best steel when it comes to corrosion resistance from chlorinated solvents. The chlorination system for drinking water is a highly corrosive environment and sometimes choosing an expensive alloy at the beginning saves on pipe replacement down the track.
