I want some information on Syngas pipeline system.
The gas predominantly contains Carbon Monoxide and Hydrogen, with H2 to CO ratio 1.6
It also contains 10 mol% methane.
The gas is initially at 25 barg and 32 degC.
Can anyone provide information on design guidelines for pressure, temperature, MOC, pipeline size(typical). the distance for transporation is around 50km and delivery pressure of 5 Barg is required.

Typical, the gas velocity is limited at 20 m/s or erosional velocity.
The pipe size can be varied in order to looking for the terminal pressure target (pipe size can be selected from any commercial sizes).
For temperature point of view, temperature at 32 degC quite not pressent the high heat transfer rate, the temperature will drop only
from the pressure effect, but still not to worry. typical pipe material can be handle at this temperature.

Hope, it'll be useful.

thanks for replying. Can you provide me any standard design guidelines for such service. That would be of great help!!!
