Hello
In my final year i have to produce a project in wich i have to design in detail a industrial facilitie and evaluate it economically.
In my case its for the prodcution of calcium chloride. I have to find flowsheets for the diferent projects in use today, calcium chloride's diferent applications and market prices. A task wich is proving to be quite hard. If anyone could direct me to literature or websites containing such information i'd be extremaly gratefull.
Sorry for any error in the english.

You say the task of finding information on the Calcium Chloride production process is hard.
Well, I just went to the Google Search Engine and keyed in Calcium Chloride, Production, Process and I got over 150,000 sources of information. I don't think what I did was that hard. Please tell us what work, search, and investigation you have done to date on your own. Also, there are always the standard library sources if you are willing to go to an engineering library - books like Shreve's "The Chemical Process Industries", Perry's Chem E. Handbook, etc..
Be specific about telling us what it is that you find hard in searching for information in today's InterNet world. It is my opinion that you have a very easy chemical product to do research on - the process is well known around the world and the unit processes are common place and easy to understand. This chemical product is regarded as a common commodity. You should have no problem putting together this project.

I did not say i wasn't find information, what i ment was finding usefull information, i've (actually me and my work group) found a lot of information on calcium chloride in Merck Index, and some encyclopedias, but an important step of this project is finding process flowsheets and that i haven't found. I'bve also serached in wiley and science direct, finding NO usefull results on calcium chloride production.
After the post i have however found a list of calcium chloride producers, wich i think mite be a way to find the flowsheet...
Still, any information expecially regarding new productions process that anyone mite find would be of enormous importance.
Thank you in advance, and sorry for any mistakes in the english.

I find no problem with your English. I do have trouble with your lack of specifics, however. Once again, I went to Google and in less than a minute found the latest Calcium Chloride production flow sheets for liquid concentrate or prill product at:
http://www.nedmag.nl...d=17&itemid=165
As I said, this comodity product is an easy one and you should have not problem find more information than you could ever read in a year's time.
If you still are having problems, state the specific information that you require, not generalities like "useful".
I hope the flow sheets are what you are looking for.
