Hi,
In HYSYS when we simulate a shell and tube exchange, the calculated duty is different from the manually calculated the exchanger duty. This is usually happening in every case. Why this variation is happening in the hysys.

It is impossible to give you the right answer without any details. How did you do your manual calculation? If you can provide an example, with all the data that you used in both the manual calculation and the Hysys input, then you may get a reasonable answer.

Hi,
As far as my concern both duty will be more or less equal.Could you recheck your manual calculation and come back if you have any queries.
Good luck
