can we find flow rate of liquid flowing through control valve on the basis of opening of control valve .top product is flowing from top plate of column by gravity in to the product tank which is at ground flower .column is operating under vacuume of 0.290 kg/cm2.

Hi ,
If you know the geometry of your tank , take a reference point( Height at t=0) , set the opening of the valve , and measure the Height at t = to + delta t .
Volume/ delta time = flow rate for a given opening of the valve .
Probably the information of height or volume are available on your DCS !
Hope this helps
