Dear all,

While designing fire water network for lube blending industry i came across the following queries.

1 For water demand calculation do i need to consider a fire scenario on any of the these tank  (Class III B Lubricants ) and accordingly cooling for adjacent tanks ( shell to shell spacing between these tanks follow NFPA30 where it mentioned as 3ft(0.9 m ) minimum).

if not please refer to some international code

if yes please define what density to be consider for water spray

for the same liquid(Class III B  handled in warehouse or in shelf , racks which are protected through sprinkler system what rates needs to be consider.

looking forward for your kind responses

Regards
