Good day All,
Am conducting a short study to understand the impact of high heat radiation from flare on field instruments.
The area of study is a section of the flowstation adjacent to the flare stack location. Due to increment in crude oil production, there's associated increment in gas production which is flared. Thereby, the heat radiation and resultant temperature increases around the facility area. It was observed that the ambient temerature ranges between 50-70 deg on a sunny day. It is believed that they could affect the field instruments.
How does high heat radiation and temperature affects installed field instruments exposed to this area?
Kindly share your experience on the effect.
Thanks for your anticipated cooperation.
Regards,
