What is the use of water content in solvent in extractive distillation like butadiene extraction and BTX extraction process as cris indicate stable node and unstable node and saddle region in their article but there is no identical indication of water content in solvent effect and requirement , as per my knowladge it increased the selectivity of solvent but what phenomena going on that i want to know.
