Hello All,

Does anyone have access to a chart with fin tube ft2/ft? Or general rules of thumb that are applicable?

I have found a chart for fin tubes up to 2" but if someone has access to larger sizes that would be great.

Thanks.

Anthony Salvatore

Hi Anthony

You can see helpful information in ISO 13706.

for my general guidances, see below.

1. 2" should be maximum because if bigger than this, the exchage efficiency is not good. (I have ever come with 1" or 1.5")

2. The fins are normally classified into high fin and low fin which will give us different fin area / tube lenght.

3. The maximum no. of fin / tube length i have found is 433 fin/m. I'm not sure if there is any manufacturers can produce higher fin density than this.

Hope this may help you.
