We are looking for removal of organics in HCl from around 80 ppm to <20 ppm. 

Kindly someone advice on which resin can be used for the same as there are patents for the same appearing on google search/discussion with others.

 

Any other technical input for reducing organic content in such trace amounts would be highly beneficial.

How about passing the acidic solution through the activated carbon?  The following material could be a typical guide for your requirements:
