Dear Kindly elaborate further details of your query;Especially
Is the Scope of work limited to stripping off some undesired part of an oil
Employing live direct steam heating and agitating the oil;
Oil is
vegetable?,
Animal? or some other
bio-produced?
or mineral?)
What are the un-desirables to be removed? and
up to what extent?
Removed material to be disposed where and How?
What quality of product is essential and how will that be ensured/verified?
What is the quality of distillation affecting live direct steam?
Does this contain any contaminants which may find their way into Oil product stream?
Is there any possibility of some chemical reaction to occur or not while intimate mixing/ agitation takes place?
Will the condensed water droplets;if produced may or may not hamper the product Oil?
The above are few of the data missing,i believe.May show way forward.

The oil to be used is Pili nut (Canarium ovatum) oil and to be deodorized and to be used in spas for purposes like aromatherapy(so it won't have to be of the highest quality unlike those oils used in food and pharamaceutical industries).
Analyses conducted at DOST V laboratory showed that the oil produced by the process has a very low free fatty acid (FFA) content of 0.06% and moisture content (MC) of only 0.04%, which favors a longer shelf life of the product.
Unfortunately, I don't have the data of the steam to be used in the process.
Are there any possible ways of deodorizing the said product without using distillation? Is absorption a possible way?
I suggested esterification process since, according to references i have read that deodorization process lowers the free fatty acid content of the product but I really don't know if it will be applicable in this situation.
Thanks and I'm hoping you can give me a lead on this project.
GOD BLESS!
