Question: What is an air knife?
Keywords: v1i2,air,knife,definition,drying,surfaces
Answer: An air knife is device that is used for drying surfaces of liquid (usually water). It works by pushing the bulk of the liquid along of the surface being dried via an air stream. Residual film moisture is then atomized by the force of the air and the surface is left very dry. Air knives can also be used to remove solid particles from surfaces as well. You can read more about them at the website below.
