Question: What is the Lo-cat Process?
Keywords: locat
Answer: The Lo-Cat process is licensed by Merichem Technologies Incorporated. Basically, it is a process for removing H2S from gas streams and converting the H2S into elemental sulfur. There is an "aerobic" version for removing H2S from air streams. There is also an "anaerobic" version for removing H2S from raw natural gas or from process gas streams in refineries, petrochemical plants, coke oven gas, etc.
