Question: How long does it take to produce gasoline in a refinery?
Keywords: gasoline,production,time
Answer: Many of the various process units in a refinery have feedstock and/or intermediate product storage tanks. If we neglect the time spent in those storage tanks, the actual time spent in refining the crude oil to produce automotive gasoline is about an hour or perhaps even less. If we do include the time spent in those storage tanks, the total time might be 1 to 4 weeks.
