Question: How can air flotation be used to separate emulsions?

Answer: By introducing small air bubbles into an emulsion, the bubbles can attach themselves to oil droplets or solids and float them to the top of the solution. Typically there are two types of air flotation devices used to separate emulsions:Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF)Induced Air Flotation (IAR)
