You could have obtained a lot of interesting information if you just have tried to Google for it. What guidance do you need? On what specific subjects, issues, concerns? At what stage your project is? There is no single information from you and you are expecting "guidance".

Try at John Zink's website and look at Flare Gas recovery datasheet to see what do you need, and from where to start.

Asia,

Get hold of API STD 521, 2007 & read through the entire section 7.4 of this standard to get a first hand idea of "Flare Gas Recovery Systems". This should help you to get started.

Ankur.

Several technologies you may consider in Flare gas recovery :
i) Recompression with liquid ring compressor
ii) Recovery using eductors
iii) Gas liquefaction

Look for those "unuse" or "low-value" energy stream for flare recovery. This really subject to your process, plant location, etc.

Capacity is one of the most difficult parameter during definition phase. Economic, environment commitment, process system and turndown are few parameters you may need to consider to derive the recovery capacity.

Good luck.

Thanks dears

for your prompt response, actualy I was working on Flare Gas Recovery project to minimize this flaring gas and recovery of the same. In this regard I performed Hysys simulation of our gas sweetening plant that indicated flow of aproximately 02 MMscfd and upto 79% CH4 with 800 BTU / Scf.

Now i intend to sort out the recovery options keeping in view Economic, Environmental, payback time and operational compatibility. I selected different alternatives in this regards, i.e. Liquid Ring, Oil injected screw compressor, Liquid Jet ejector and Gas ejector.

Kindly guide me in carbon tradings in respect to rates and any other +ve output

Regards,
