Dear All,
Where can I find tables with numerical values of compressibility factor (Z) for carbon dioxide (CO2) as a function of gas temperature and pressure. (books, articles...)

Thank you in advance!
Alison

Alison,

There is a table (Table 2-167) in Chapter 2, Physical & Chemical Data of "Perry's Chemical Engineering Handbook", 7th edition (this is the one I have) which provides the compressibilities of CO2 with respect to various temperatures & pressures.

Regards,
Ankur.

Here's the table mentioned by Ankur.

You can try to use the following website and see if the calculator gives reasonable accuracy/match with the values from Perry: http://www.carbon-di...s.com/help.aspx

You could try this: http://www.lv-soft.c...stoff/index.htm for CO2 properties or NIST database.
