The wind is the result of a shining sun. As long as the sun shines, the wind will blow and continue to generate energy. Wind power is the transformation of wind energy into other forms of power. The wind power is converted into electricity by the use of turbines. The kinetic energy of the wind is captured and transformed into other forms of energy like the electricity and mechanical power.
The generation of wind energy does not lead to soil, water or air pollution. Thats why, it is a preferred source of renewable energy. The wind, created by the difference in soil temperature, can be harnessed to be used in a variety of activities.
