Dear All,
Due to a lack of information in our plant, we don't have any access to a data sheet on the following adsorbents which were supplied by Linde. It would be highly appreciated if anyone could share any information on them.
1- LMS G200B
2- LMS C200F
3- LAC N20
4- LAC 612
5- LA 20
Thanks and regards.

You should contact Linde's Technical Service/Customer Support - that is a straightforward way in obtaining product documentation.

Dear Sir,
I agree with you to contact with Technical Service/Customer Support.but sometimes need to replace them with adsorbents from another vendors. Unfortunately we don't have any information about the structure of adsorbents e.g LMS G200B is equal to 3A or 5A for make new decision.
If anyone has same data,it should be useful for us.
Thanks again for your reply.

Zauberberg is very correct in his recommendations. However, I see several obstacles here:
You furnish us with a listing of what appears to be five (5) adsorbent types, identified by “part number”. However, you don’t state that, so we have to assume it. I, as I believe Zauber also does, assume that the part number is a Linde part number and should identify an Adsobent Type in their stock and inventory. This would be normal practice. Therefore, you should do as recommended and contact Linde, stating that you need the SPECIFIC, TYPE OF ADSORBENT that the part number represents. If, indeed, we have guessed right in identifying the part number as such, then Linde will furnish you with the information you desire – and complete material safety data sheets (MSDS) as well – which you should have in the first place in your engineering department.
As an operator of an adsorption unit you are very correct and in your absolute right in having the necessary, specific, adsorbent identification information in your possession. You definitely need this information and I am totally surprised that you don’t have it (or report it). Your adsorbent designer and fabricator should have furnished you with a complete description of what was designed and furnished – in engineering specifications, drawings, Operating and Maintenance Manuals, and sometimes in detailed calculations (if these were purchased). Who designed and built your unit? When was this done? Where are the Operating and Maintenance Manuals?
You have every right to demand and obtain the adsorbent identity of what was originally furnished in your unit – by the customary commercial and process identity name, and not as a serial part number. You should request this from your unit’s designer and fabricator or from Linde – whoever assigned the numbers you have listed. As you have correctly stated, you need this information in order to have the supply options from different suppliers and adsorbent manufacturers that you may find fit in the future. This is your right.
We here on the Forum have no idea or knowledge of what or where the numbers you listed are or have originated. You are in a much better position to tell us that; but we have not received any detailed or specific information on your unit and your operations. Therefore you as the owner/operator have the right (and obligation) to expedite that information from your unit’s designer/fabricator or from the supplier of the original adsorbent. We don’t know how the adsorption unit was contracted for or supplied – and when, so we don’t know who would be the most knowledgeable in that respect. But you should.
