In our plant we have a direct contact air cooler, where air at a temperature of 35 degc is cooled by chilled water(temp 13 degc) to a temperature of 15 degc. Now I have received several vendor offers reagarding this cooler..
I dont have any software for checking the packed bed hydraulics calcln..So how can I check whether the packed bed height offered by them is sufficient?I have only checked the heat balance till now...
Can u help me with any sort of spreadsheet or boooks, from where I can verify the packing height?
Thnxxx in advance...
