Hello !
biggrin.gif
Manytimes, anti foaming agent is a process requirement to suppress foaming in the system.
Oleic acid / Silicon emulsion defoamer are normally used.
What is the right method of using anti foaming agent?
I mean say whether dilute solution of anti foamer is to apply while foaming appears or certain dose of concentrated anti foamer is a better way to subside effervesces? cool.gif

Hello I would say the right method for using defoamer is the least amount. In the manufacturing of engines, coolant defoamer is one of the most costly liquids per volume. We will add small concentrated amounts at a time. Epson salt can also be used in ratio of 1/4 pint to 100 gallons of coolant mixture but you are talking about process foaming and not manufacturing foaming so it might be different.
