Chem_Proc_Eng,

Normally the filter separator is supplied as a complete package of vessel and internals based on a Manufacturer proprietary design.

As a client or engineering contractor you can only do a limited design check for it's suitability to your application.

For this kind of suitability check please refer to Shell DEP 31.22.05.11-Gen.

Regards,
Ankur.

Ankur2061 & Zauberberg,

Thanks for your very much ^^

Sorry Mr Zauberber but your link is unavailable!

I want to use the gas filter separator upstream our gas/glycol contactor to avoid any water ingression into the contactor.
We think that our scrubber integral with the contactor is unable to move some aerosol due to the condensation of water vapor.

Fully agree.
it's quite all there.

you can even refer to: (see attached file)
By the way, pay attention to operating pressure (if outside of 0-7 barg value).

Moreover, if you're really managing aerosol: a meshpad won't solve the problem.
This by definition of aerosol diameter vs caption capability of a meshpad.

My salutation to Zauberberg who is still actively with us (Although he was blessed with becoming a father) and

I got the info retrieved through his referenced link with some modifying trial&errors at Google.

Hoping this serves the purpose and proves 'my friend's point'.
