I want to replace the PRDS on a high pressure steam system with a mini steam turbine.

The Parameters are
Steam Flow rate = 29.3 TPH
Steam pressure = 47.6 ata
Steam Temperature = 455 degree C

After PRDS
steam pressure = 13.8 ata
Steam Temperature = 207.3 degree C

I am looking for the calculations to support this initiative. Request all the experts to help.

PRDS can be replaced with a Steam Turbine which will generate around 2 MW of power at efficiency of 75 % with exhaust steam at around 310 deg C. But this should be confirmed with various manufacturers of steam turbine that whether they can manufacture the turbine as per your requirement. Also please check the cost benefit analysis at your end.
