Hi,
I am trying to find height of a cooling tower using my experimental results. From analyzed results, I have values for HTU and NTU which gives me height of tower used in lab. I am supposed to use either of these (HTU or NTU) values and superficial air velocity from my experimental results to scale up and find the height and diameter of cooling tower for higher flow rate. Can you suggest me which parameter should be used for scale up and why? Also is there a specific way to define optimum HTU or NTU? Thanks in advance.
