We are planning to add a LPG separation/storage facility to our site. The relief system for the new facility would be added to the existing relief header. Existing relief system has been checked for relief rates from new facility. However the question is whether we need to do something for checking the temperature of the release, as LPG is stored under pressure. Any release would be lower in temperature.
Are any special precautions taken for release systems connected to LPG storage and production facilities?
Best Regards
