API 650 requires gas blanketing on internal floating roof tanks if there are no peripheral circulation vents on shell and a vent in the fixed roof.

For a greenfield project, what are the pros and cons of the both the cases. One when vents are provided and hence no gas blanketing. Other when vents are not provided but gas blanketing provided.

go-fish:

It is more concise to cite the edition and year of the API 650 document you are quoting, rather than force our members to go through the entire document looking for the paragraph they think you may be referring to. That way is so much more effective, efficient, and error-less. Not everyone of us keeps up with all the API documents and their current edition.

Thank you,
