Dear all,
Could anyone share the composition of LPG? Especially LPG from Pertamina Indonesia.
I need to know exactly the composition of propane, butane, iso-butane, and pentane.
But if anyone could share the composition of LPG in his/her own country, it will be very helpful.
Best regards.

Hi Breizh,
I have already read that article. I just want to check whether the butane is actually composed of n-butane and isobutane or just n-butane like in the article.
Why don't I ask Pertamina directly?
Because most of the time I have questions, I get answer from this forum faster that if I asked directly from related company/people.
Thank you for your reply though.

Leon,
Butane in LPG is actually composed by n-butane and isobutane. Pertamina regulation only for general specification of total C3&C4, but there is no limitation propane/butane/isobutane composition.
For your reference only, my plant is producing 45-65% propane, 14-20% n-butane and 17-30% isobutane. Plant is in Indonesia.
Hope that helps.

- Example of actual Propane spec from National Gas, Oman (as well as of LPG), can be seen in http://www.nationalgasco.net/AboutLPG/SpecificationSheets/tabid/78/Default.aspx.
- Another example for Propane or Butane (of Russian origin) can be seen in http://www.hesb-oilgas.com.my/images/LPG.pdf.
- Googling "LPG specifications" you may find additional specifications from other countries.
