Can anyone please tell what is the pressure range while doing mechanical cleaning (high pressure water cleaning) for plate heat exchangers.

It depends what is the material on the plate and the efficiency of the nozzles . I would say below 50 bars.
Pay attention to the gaskets or you may consider to replace all of them.

and Sir does the range remains the same (or around it) for welded plate heat exchangers such as bloc type,plate and shell type etc.

I've no experience for welded equipment , I'm thinking that CIP is a better way to clean them
