Do you know a website which has a very detailed description of ejectors (i.e, origin, types, advantages etc.)? I've searched the net but I only ended up with names of suppliers selling ejectors. Please help me quicken my search. Also, thanks to mbeychok for answering my last query. smile.gif

Febz Beloy:

If you furnish your email address, I'll send you a copy of a workbook I've prepared on the subject of producing vacuum (if you are interested).

A lot of the questions you pose are discussed there. I have prepared this workbook to assist young engineers because I've found this subject is sadly lacking in university training and preparation. I'm still working on adding material to it and improving it, but it can probably help you out.

Let me know.

Did you look at www.geajet.de . There is no very detailed information, but some discussion about advantages and drawbacks of ejectors.
They use ejectors not only for producing vacuum, but also as "pumps"

All:

I am always prepared and willing to help striving and dedicated Chemical Engineering students - especially those that don't share in the great wealth of information that we enjoy in these democratic United States. It is also my pleasure to assist those students that aspire to help improve the progress and aspirations of their developing countries.

In order to be able to send future upgrades and improvements in the future and to have a listing of who has a copy of my workbooks, I would request each of those who solicit my workbooks to email me the following:

1) Your full, legal name; (no "catchy" computer name or passwords)
2) Your postal mailing address (with city & country)
3) the name of the University you attend.

The above will enable me to organize a small database to keep you aware when I have improved the workbooks. I have never - and will never - use the information to sell, barter or confide with anyone else. I prefer to work with engineering human beings, and not computerized nicknames.

Thank you all for the responses; it makes me proud that there are interested students out there who aspire to learn and seek self-improvement. I will be absent for approximately 2 weeks, taking care of some important priorities: visiting and inter-phasing with my two beautiful granddaughters. But I will respond to your interested requests as soon as I get back.

Regards
Art Montemayor
