Dear all

As we know a relationship exist between k-type Gas overall
Volumetric mass transfer coefficients in gas controlling systems:
kg.a (unknown) = kg.a (known) *[(Dv (unknown)/ (Dv (known))] ^.56:
( Dv is the diffusivity of the considered component in the gas. )
1.Can we apply this relationship by analogy to liquid controlling systems for an appropriate estimation?
kl.a (unknown) = kl.a (known) *[(Dl (unknown)/(Dl (known))] ^.56
( Dl is the diffusivity of the considered component in the liquid. )
2. for dimensional analyses,
What would be appropriate definition of Sherwood number
witch contain volumetric mass transfer coefficients?
What would be appropriate definition of Reynolds number?
3.Is there exist any relationship between F-type volumetric coefficients witch
Tend to a good estimation of unknown F-type coefficients with known
F-type Coefficients?

Ebrahim
