Can anybody tell me, how we set high level, high high level and nozzle elevation (if side entry). Also height from high high level or nozzle top to the top TL. This is regarding horizontal underground drain drum.
Please post your opinion.
Thanks
Vihaan.

As 'Kushal.Raval' said in the post, you first need to to know the maximum working volume for the drum. Put some margin on the working volume. This volume should accomodate in LAL - LAH. Think it as an intervative process. Choose a D and L according to the ratio (if any) in the standards that you are currently following.
While chosing L; think of all the nozzles, connections to vent/flare and pump (if you have it) .
LSHH is generally 100mm or 150 mm above the LAH ---this should be in your standards.
LSLL is generally selected on the basis of providing minimum NPSH to the pump in case of a submerged suction vertical pump. If there is no pump, then specify LSLL 100-150mm below LAL.
Do you have a boot?
LSLL can be in the boot or in the main drum.
Hope this helps.
