hi,
The freezing point of H2O decreases with increasing pressure,
This can be shown thermodynamically, as well as can be attributed to the anomalous behaviour shown by it, as density of the solid i.e ice is less than water in equilibrium.
Are there any other substances showing anomalous behavior like water????
plz let me know if u have any info regarding this.
