Your question is so general and lacking in detail that I can only furnish you a general response:
Use an overall "U" between 5 and 50 Btu/hr-ft2-oF when you are heating a very heavy petroleum fraction with a heating thermal fluid (HTF). In your case, I would use the value of 5 to 10.
