Refinery Simulation

 

CDU – Crude distillation Unit

VDU – Vacuum distillation unit

NHU – Naphtha Hydro – treating Unit

CRU – catalytic Reforming unit

KHU – Kero Hydro – Treating Unit

FCC - Fluid catalytic cracking unit

GCU – Gas concentration unit

GTU – Gas treatment unit (Fuel, Gas, and LPG)

MU – Merox Unit (LPG and Gasoline)

DU - Dimersol Unit

BU – Butamer Unit

HF-AU – HF Alkylation Unit

PU – Platforming Unit

LPG plant

e.t.c

 

Please has anyone ever done any of the above simulation using HYSYS or otherwise, I need clarification, PFD/P & ID, feasibility study, conceptual design, FEED, Basis design, optimization approach.  

 

 

Any information to achieve all or any of the above is welcome. I appreciate

You want to simulate all of that in hysys? Perhaps you can search the examples that come with the hysys installation.

Your question is too wide and vague. It would be better if you read some books and literature first.

I would suggest reading Chemical Process Technology by Moulijn

I'm not sure if there is any one simulator that can do all that. You would probably want a combination of Hysys (or Aspen Plus)/ProMax/KBC.

Petro-sim is much better than aspen or hysys in this simulations.
