I have a quick question about designing flare systems. Currently, we have a large enclosed flare system in which we need to change bushings out of. However, we would like to not cease flaring off the gas going to the flare so we have decided to use a series of smaller tubing before the flare inlet to serve as a new temporary set of flare systems.

My Question: What are the design parameters for the temporary flare systems I would like to install? I need parameters based off of length and diameter descriptions. The gas has no additional air flow to it other than the atmosphere and I have no way of being certain about the incoming velocity of the gas.

Thank you!
