A long plastic rod (k=0.4 Wm^-1K^-1,pC=1040 kJm^-3K^-1) has a diameter 1cm. It is uniformly preheated in an oven as preperation for a pressing operation. For best results the temeperature throughout the rod should not be less than 200C. To what uniform temperature should the rod be heated in the oven if, for the worst case, the rod sits on a conveyor for 3 minutes while exposed to convection cooling with ambient aisr at 25C, and a convection cooling coefficient of 10 Wm^-2K-1.

please if someone could help me out with this.anything would be helpful.Thanxxxxxxxxx

How much effort and work have you put into this problem?

Are you asking us to do your homework?
