Dear All,

We need to design a Instrument Gas Heater using a ambient Air by natural convection( Finned tube type  heater).

We need to heat Instrument Gas from 60'F to 75'F to avoid hydrate formation.

Ambient air temperature is 78'F.

My question is , Such a Close approach is possible in air heaters(fin tube) almost 3'F ( 78'F-75'F)? , I mean we need heat to the Instrument Gas upto 75"F using air which is at 78'F. we have only 3'F difference between two fluids.

If any body having experience in designing such heater and seen working anywhere in industry? Please advise or share your valuable knowledge.

Please let me know if any additional information requires.

Regards

Rakesh
