Dears

I have question about criteria of using the fire fighting ring around the manifold of wells

Do we have any criteria to use fire water ring or not?

In my project in the manifold of 22 wells we don’t have any facility to extinguish the fire

I need the criteria to show and categorized based on flow rate or other important subject.

Thanks in advance for your kind help

Hi,

NFPA standard provides all the criteria and calculation methods . Firewater ring requirement depends on location of the manifold and adjacent process facilities. If the manifold is isolated portable units may be considered.
