Our natural gas compressor has tendum dry seal gas. Now, during start up it is tripping due to high dry seal gas pressure. Is there is any procedure to clean the dry gas seal without dis-mentling the compressor and seals.

Remove the seal supply inlet line to the primary seal, open the cavity drain on the machine casing, and apply high velocity of nitrogen from the inlet seal supply and hopefully  you'll observe something coming out from the cavity drain.
