Dear all!

I want to build a operation simulator training by HYSYS or Dynsim. It means that I want to connect some PCs to have a system (like training DCS). Please could anyone has experience about it tell me, how could I do that?

Thank you very much!

The simulators you mention don't have the capability to accomplish "hands-on" operation. To get a training simulator takes lots of $$$. If you have that, then you can get a training simulator. Cost might be as high as US $1,000,000 for the hardware and simulator software.

Dynsim is used as the engine in professional training simulators. Its models can operate across multiple PCs and realistically predict process dynamic response in real time or faster. Building a high-fidelity Dynsim model is about an order of magnitude more difficult than building a high-fidelity steady state model. It helps to have experience or at least someone to guide you through the tricks of dynamic model building. Once the model engine is built and verified, you can use it "as is". But for best training simulation, you should have the same interface that the operator sees. For that, you will need to connect the dynamic model engine to an emulation of the plant control system. Some operating companies build their own training simulators using Dynsim and others contract with the Dynsim software designer for a turnkey project.
