Hi All,

I am doing the dyanmic simulations of the fire water system for offshore plotform. There are some monitors which are designed away from the deluge valve/skid. The piping in between deluge valve and monitor is air filled.

During operation of the monitors, pressure peak of more than 80barg is evaluated due to air evacuation induced water hammer.

what is the best pressure mitigation measure here?

is any one have similar experience ?

Thank you in advance.

Regards,RR
