Dear Sir,

I have to design Agitator with Guide bush at bottom free hand of shaft. Please guide me to calculate effect of steady bearing (Bottom guide bush) on power calculation & Shaft dia. calculation of Agitator.

You can review the following books: "Process Equipment Design" by M. V. Joshi, and "Analytical Troubleshooting of Process Machinery and Presssure Vessel" by A. Sofronas.
