Hello! I am currently doing my thesis regarding gas hydrate formation. The system includes propane/butane/tetrahydrofuran/water. I was wondering if there is any program that I can use to predict the conditions where hydrate formation would occur if the system includes a promoter. I have read a topic about hydrate formation prediction, but the program I found there was for a system involving an inhibitor.

Big thanks to those who would help me! :D

Hi Raniella,

There are several hydrate calculation programs such as Hydrate Plus, DBR Hydrate etc.

I doubt you would be able to get access to them easily though, but do try.

Also consider the following resources,
