Are there any good documents that recommend design guidelines for firefighting systems for chemical plants?

I have seen documents for oil refineries / petrochem installations / Oil  Gas etc. but those are not very applicable to a standalone chemical facility.

Specifically, something that advises on fire fighting header design / sizing / water storage capacity / hydrant spacing  etc.

The facility in question is small sized, approx. 2000 tons/year of a specialty chemical.

Hi Curious-cat

The answer is yes : NFPA 20/30 ;

Attached document from internet ( quite old)  .

Another great resource if you can get access to it is standard ( guidelines ) provided by FM global (insurance and risk management).
