Dear All

I should like to have your opinion about the applicability of API 2000 to tank with a coil (LP Steam).

I have a tank with palm oil that shall be a 55°C and I have to estimate the out-breathing and in-breathing for a tank with fix roof.

thks for you help

Barbara_s,

I would suggest that the agitator does not have any effect on the inbreathing/outbreathing rates of the tank.  These are dependent upon the transfer in and out of the palm oil, not the agitator.   API 2000 should be followed using the tank dimensions that are obtained by yourself.

Regards
