Dear All- I am relatively new to refining world and have been assigned to start on FEED project for a crude distillation unit. This is for a ultra light crude oil fracing into different fractions such as off-gas, naphtha, kero and diesel.

I was hoping if someone can help me a typical go-by Process Flow Diagram (PFD) and PID for a CDU. I just want to get an understanding of type of equipment that will be included in the design.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I can also be emailed info. at purvamehta_5@hotmail.com

Thanks a lot in advance.

Purvametha_5,

I attached basic information. Also you can review the book: "Petroleum Refining Vol. 1: Crude Oil, Petroleum Products, Process Flowsheets",  by Wauquier, Tecnip, 1995
