Please, does anybody here works or have worked with a VRU system? Or, at least, have projected?

I would like to exchange information about this system with some of the following examples:

- Best vacuum pumps used;

- Determination of VOC header pressure;

- Switch between carbon filters premises;

- Blower vacuum adopted.

I am working on a VRU (using activated carbon filters) system and would be important if i could hear the experience of the others.

Thanks

Max

Dear Max Domingues,

                         It ssems you are handling a project for Vapour Recovery Units (VRU) for recovery of medium to high concentrations of

volatile organic compounds from vapours.

For Vacuum system selection, you may refer below Link as a guide:

http://www.labconco....ght-vacuum-pump

Also there are several factors such as required Vacuum Level, Maintenance frequency, Cost etc.

Also, refer below link for your further guidance :

http://www.voczero.c...vapour-recovery

I will recommend you to make a simple Process data sheet for your VRU Package item & send it for Enquiry to some expert Vendor &

then you can analyse the things more clearly.

Hope this may help you.

Regards,

SPC

Max,

I am attaching some documents which may help you in approaching a vendor such as John Zink.

Ankur
