secondly in refluxed absorber which is a distiilation coulmn which out reboiler why the feed is at the bottom of column ? how can i calculate the liquid draw for pump around and ratio of feed to steam at bottom  in refluxed absorber ? looking forward to it

may I suggest some good book (see Kister distillation design or similar books) as basic introduction to this (quite complex) matter ?

(quote from Kister) an absorber tipically has a rich gas bottom stage feed and a lean oil top stage feed,

of course many variants exist and the wide use of simulators has introduced many terms such as refluxed absorbers (meaning absorbers with condensers)  etc. which can identify a specific unit operation (on that software),

however absorbers work as other staged columns...

if you are a student there is a specific forum at cheresources.com...
